Socially Engaged Reading with Perusall and Hypothes.is 🗓

Lara Allen (HMS) and Amanda Matles (SSCS) show and tell about two socially engaged reading platforms, Perusall and Hypothes.is. They will discuss how instructors can integrate these tools to support peer instruction, reading assignment accountability, flipped classrooms, and active learning. They will go over some of the challenges they’ve encountered, answer questions, and offer tips on how to get started.
