Recording: Documenting Accessibility

Thank you for joining us at Introduction to Digital and Document Accessibility on October 29 2024. The recording from this event is below, and the slide deck is accessible when logged in with a Pratt email address.

In this workshop, participants explored the place of digital and document accessibility within the wider context of accessibility in higher education. The session delved into the relationship between digital and document accessibility and Universal Design for Learning (UDL), examining both the benefits of and requirements for creating accessible digital content. Attendees learned about key practices and tools for developing more accessible documents and digital artifacts. By the conclusion of the workshop, each participant had identified two to three actionable steps they could implement to enhance digital and document accessibility in their teaching practice.
