Join CTL Faculty Fellow Sophia Sobers as we hear about her work so far as a Fellow from the School of Art. Sophia’s project, Fostering Play in Art + Technology is about investigating ways to encourage play and exploration within the context of technical learning in DDA’s Art + Technology and Interactive Arts programs in order to make learning potentially technically challenging platforms accessible and inclusive, thus lowering potential barriers to entry. Through the process of exploring and cataloging current methodologies and approaches towards teaching new and established technologies within the classroom, a catalog of common practices and knowledge databases will be developed for working with creative technologies.
