Join CTL Faculty Fellow Shayla Lawz as we hear about her work so far as a Fellow from the School of Liberal Arts and Sciences. Shayla proposes in her research that all art does not have to engage with the social/political landscape of the world, yet all art has the power to. During the CTL fellowship, she will focus on understanding more about how students view their power to spark political and social conversations through their art. She takes on this research with the goal of creating new courses and supporting already existing courses across SLAS that allow students to engage their creative practices with a social lens.
