Pedagogy Open Mic: AI and the Classroom 🗓

Wednesday December 4, 12:30-1:30

Has AI affected your teaching this semester? Join us for this Pedagogy Open Mic on AI and the Classroom. During this interactive conversation, any faculty member can “step up to the mic” for 3 minutes to share an experience, issue, or anecdote concerning AI and Pedagogy from this semester. This could be an assignment that you’ve redesigned to account for emerging AI tools, a challenge you’ve faced with students secretly using AI, an idea that you’d like to try in the future but aren’t sure how, or anything else. Then, the floor will open for the entire group to discuss the topic at hand for 5-7 minutes, before the next round begins. We’ll have time for 5-6 rounds. Come ready to problem solve with your colleagues and hear what’s been coming up in their classes!

The CTL will be present to guide the conversation and provide resources, articles, and suggestions from various sources.

Eligible faculty qualify for a $100 stipend for their participation in this event.
