Session 1: Student Wellbeing
Our first session will focus on student wellbeing and mental health at Pratt, including a review of data retrieved from the most recent Healthy Minds survey and a conversation with staff in student-facing offices that work with mental health and wellbeing. Staff from the following offices will share information and help facilitate the conversation: Student Support and Advocacy, Health Services, Counseling Center, Learning/Access Center, and Resilience, Wellness, and Well-Being Center.
Session 2: Supporting Students in Distress
In our second session, Jasmine Cuffie (Associate Director of the Resilience, Wellness, and Well-Being Center) will lead us through a training to help faculty and staff identify, understand and respond to a mental health crisis.
Session 3: Wellbeing Pedagogies
The third session will consider how we can incorporate wellbeing strategies into our pedagogies and teaching practices, drawing from the CTL’s Wellbeing Pedagogies page.
Session 4: Faculty Wellbeing
In our final session, we will think about faculty wellbeing and the needs of faculty when it comes to mental health.
Eligible part-time faculty who attend at least 2 of the 4 sessions qualify for a $150 stipend.
