New Inclusive Classroom Book Club: SP26 🗓

We invite all Pratt faculty to join our reading discussion group based on the book The New College Classroom by Cathy N. Davidson and Christina Katopodis this Spring semester.

The New College Classroom is a guide to college teaching which begins to grapple with the way higher education has changed for the better. It covers new practices that could accompany these changes in order to serve professors and students better. This text includes information about “What the latest science of learning tells us about inspiring, effective, and inclusive teaching at the college level” covering topics such as “Structuring Active Learning,” “Democratic and Antiracist Pedagogy,” “Group Work without the Groans,” and more.

Eligible part-time faculty (SP26) qualify for a $250 stipend for attending 3 sessions.
