Justice Whitaker: Faculty Spotlight Recording

Distinguished professor Justice A. Whitaker discusses his use of the ungrading pedagogical practice and how he uses this material to generate an authentic relationship with his students. The Spotlight examines how Justice uses ungrading to prioritize academic success in the classroom and legitimately support students for real world professional scenarios. Justice shares portions of his lecture on ungrading, delivered at the start and end of each semester, and ties the practice to his ongoing work decolonizing the classroom.
