Faculty AI Learning Lab 🗓

Tuesday March 11, 12:30-1:30: Session #1

Wednesday March 12, 3:00-4:00:  Session #2

Curious to experiment with generative AI chatbots, but not sure where to start or how to get worthwhile results? Join us for an hour of hands-on AI experimentation, with some guiding frameworks to get you feeling confident. We’ll be meeting in person in a computer lab, so you’ll have the support of colleagues there with you in the room. Some applications of AI that we’ll explore are: getting feedback on something that you’ve written, developing lesson plans, and attempting to complete your own assignments with these tools to see the outcome.

Sessions on Tuesday & Wednesday will have the same agenda, but feel free to attend both sessions for more practice. If you’re not able to attend either of these dates but are interested in the content, please complete the RSVP form indicating so and you will be added to the follow-up emails.

All levels of AI experience are welcome! Both sessions take place in ENG-203 on the Brooklyn campus; there are computers available in that lab classroom, so no need to bring your laptop with you.
