The New Inclusive Classroom: Reading Group Spring 2024 🗓

To kick off the spring semester, we will be meeting weekly to discuss the book, The New College Classroom by C Davidson and Ch. Katopodis during this 3-session series. The new college classroom is a practical guide to the future of college teaching. Eligible part-time faculty qualify for a $250 stipend for attending all 3 sessions.

This text includes information about “What the latest science of learning tells us about inspiring, effective, and inclusive teaching at the college level” and includes topics such as “Structuring Active Learning,” “Democratic and Antiracist Pedagogy,” “Group Work without the Groans,” and more.

Mondays (virtually): January 22, January 29, and February 5 from 3:00-4:00pm

Creative practices help us process uncertainty, build community, and find new perspectives on challenges.
