Resolutions: Implementing New Ideas and Practices in Teaching and Learning

Do you have ideas for how to improve your courses or your teaching, but struggle to find the time and resources to implement them? Have you been inspired by a CTL event, but lacked a clear path and support to act on that inspiration? Bring those new ideas and practices to life in the new year with the CTL and join the inaugural cohort of our Resolutions program today!

“Resolutions” offers an opportunity for faculty to develop and put into practice ideas generated in conversation with the Center for Teaching and Learning programming. It is a cohort-based series that will address course and syllabus design and development using leading pedagogical frameworks and strategies. The CTL will provide support in the form of focused working sessions, opportunities to connect with other faculty, and an asynchronous collaboration space. Participants will also have access to pedagogical research and resources related to their interests.

To join, submit a statement of interest on the linked form between December 1, 2023 and January 31, 2024.

$500 stipends are available for projects by eligible part-time faculty.

Have questions? Great! We are holding two Q&A sessions for the Resolutions program:

  • Resolutions Q&A #1: Friday 12/15 12pm–1pm – RSVP
  • Resolutions Q&A #2: Wednesday 01/17 1pm–2pm – RSVP
