Your nostalgic fluidity carries a scent of hope (alternatively silence or carbon) as it envelopes our humble human experiences. Oh Time, with deep respect we offer the following invitation:
We would be delighted to have you join our 2026 Summer Playground Institute; a playful exploration of serious pedagogical topics within a community of creative and curious Pratt faculty. We gather at the end of the Spring semester before Summer break (a liminal space-time) to joyfully hold inspiring questions and works-in-progress with each other.
In our Playground community, we will center your wisdom, Oh Time, and dream that you may share with us aspects of yourself that bring in a spark of new ideas and possibly a reason to break away from restrictive molds. The Playground affords deep reflections on complex pasts and tenuous futures, considerations of times that call for prayers, brittle strategic timeframes, experiences of deep ecological times, iron-clad semesters, and fragments washed away by liquid modernity. We ask your presence, Oh Eternal Being because now, in our current times so much is at stake. Because it really matters.
Time, we celebrate your steady authority – yet, as all participants at this Playground, we ask that you complete this brief application form by Monday, April 27, 2026 to mark your acceptance of this humble invitation.
