Resource: External Tools and Integrations in Canvas

In this recording from CTL’s Educational Technologist on Wednesday October 22, 2025, the CTL’s Educational Technologist shares some of the external tools and integrations that can be used to boost your Canvas course. This session covers the following topics: 

  • Seamlessly incorporating material from the Pratt Libraries into your Canvas course,
  • Utilizing Lucid, Canvas’s interactive whiteboard tool,
  • Including a custom link in your course with the Redirect tool, 
  • Using the Canvas Mods extension for updated user experience,
  • and getting started with Perusall, a social annotation tool for reading assignments.
